My 262B is leaking hydraulic fluid from what appears to be the seal marked 1 in this diagram. It leaks when parked, probably a few tablespoons a day. To remove the refrigerant compressor marked 4 to replace the seal do I simply need to remove the two attached hoses and the two flabge connection bolts?
I can *just* get to the bottom bolt with a 3/8" drive bar with 4" extension through an inconveniently placed hole (picture attached) so that would be easier option than removing it with the attached motor. I have tried tightening these bolts to stop the leak but it hasn't helped much.
Is there any special concerns I need to consider when trying this, such as having the entire hydraulic tank drain or gassing myself with refrigerant gas?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
