2000 freightliner fl 60 mercedes 388cid crank no start. Code sid 248 fail02 . Code states loss communication with ecm to vcu. When the gauges sweep the dash if the oil pressure goes to 100 the Code will come active will not start . If I un hook the positive cable with the key in the on position it will reset . Parts replaced so far just the key switch cleaned all grounds and all cables .Seen a lot of post about this issue never seen a fix yet . was told it was the vcu but once it resets it works all day till I turn the key off overnight.
