    case 480c diff lock install?

    i have a case 480c that was missing its diff lock,picked up the cover with internals from salvage and installed it,im having a bit of trouble though,the lever only moves a hair once installed, is the collar supposed to go inside the brake housing (this is how i installed it) my main question...

    So I've got a 80ish 480c and ever since I've had it the diff lock hasn't been hooked up, don't know why or anything.
