A Website Full of Welding Information

https://www.kingsofwelding.com/guides/mig-tig-stick/ While I am not going to re-read the page, after a quick search I can tell you to look at the first chart where it states under Stick and Weld Quality, "LOW". Then below that, under Stick Welding and Cons of Stick Welding it states "Lower...

A Website Full of Welding Information

I took a look at kings of welding, under stick welding, they repeatedly state stick welding produces a low quality weld. That is really all I need to read to tell me that site has no clue about welding. Stick welding can produce x-ray quality welds. In fact, I would be willing to bet a beginner...

    Winter Fuel Treatment?

One night, pushing snow, my 953 needed fuel, and my transfer tank filter and fuel gelled up. An old timer working for me said to go put 3 gallons of gasoline in my 100 gallon tank. By the time I got back from the gas station I had about 10 seconds of whine, then full flow. Since then, I treated...

Hey thanks Tom. Sorry I haven't commented, just finished a long move from chitcago to Tennessee. That tag trailer looks great. I am going to do pretty much the same to my small equipment trailer come springtime. Now that I'm out of the rust belt, time to make everything nice. On that dump...

Looking to haul more gravel materials

I used to own dump tractor/trailers for 18 years.(thank God that is over) Here in hellinois, we ran 22' trailers, 5 axles total. We were allowed 72,000lbs if you bought the SHV (Short Hauler Vehicle) permit. Otherwise we were limited to 67,500lbs, even though our registration said 73,280lbs...

    Trailer air brakes

In hellinois, we hauled limestone from the quarries. I used to replace chambers every other brake change which was between 3-4 years depending on the driver. The springs were usually shot a short time past that.

    Mobile mechanic thread

A while back there was a mobile mechanic with a large semi service truck. It was a very long thread that he showed a ton of his work, and it was high end work, he was not a hack. For the life of me I can't remember where I seen this thread, if it was in this forum or another. Sorry for being so...

    Mobile mechanic thread

A while ago I was reading a thread by a mobile mechanic with a kick butt tandem axle semi service truck. He did exceptional work, and I think the thread was like 80 some pages long or so. I must be the worst person at searching, because I can't find it, and I'm not even sure what site it was on...

    On board scales.

I run a 2011 Pete tandem axle with tandem axle and tri-axle Talbert's. I'm looking to get into an on board scale system. Just wondering what guy's are running out there. I had one recommendation for Right Way Load Scales, but I'm looking for more input. Thanks for the help.
