John deere 450D lc low fuel rail pressure

The unsteady fuel pressure is a red flag, been through this twice on a 450D, exact symptoms, unsteady fuel pressure, changed 3 overflow valves and finally found a loose "T" where the lines join coming off the primary fuel filters, after that pressure is steady at 37 psi and symptoms...

    Deere 540B lost hydraulics

Thanks for the reply, yes the transmission is working fine, after studying the book a lot I agree with you, the filter relief and the oil cooler relief can both dump the charge oil back to sump, that valve is a real sweetheart to get to but that's where I'm looking next.

    Deere 540B lost hydraulics

Hi! Working on a deere 540b skidder, no hydraulics working, testing at the pump finds 0 charge pressure until about 3/4 throttle, then the gauge will come up to around 150 psi but drops to zero again at idle, I've tested the transmission pump pressure at 175 psi, according to the book the...

    Aftermarket Engine Parts

Which aftermarket parts manufacturer has the best value/quality/ life expectancy for some of the more common engines cummins, cat, deere, ih? I've used IPD before and liked their kits, have also used fp diesel, like the parts but not overly fond of the gaskets. Most of the stuff I've done is...

Where to buy hydraulic pump parts?

Hey, thanks for the replies I could only build about 2000 psi. out of the L.H. transmission and charge pressure was at 150 psi. under load, upon dissassembly I found that the pistons were very worn in the barrels (stuck a dial indicator on the side of a piston with it inserted in the barrel and...

    Deere 750 dozer mistracking

Working on an early 750 dozer, right track takes off faster than the left in forward and reverse, removed and capped lines at transmission control valve, the left side builds pressure more slowly than the right side but they both do equal out in forward and reverse (checking at P5, 6,7&8)...

    CASE 588G King Pins

Airman, thanks for the response, I had done a little research online regarding the ductile iron and it seemed like nickel was the way to go. I'll try to post some pics when I can. Jeff

    CASE 588G King Pins

The bottom hole isn't bad but the top hole is wallowed out pretty good, was going to weld it in but it would be more precise if I had a sleeve machined and welded that in. Nothing is broken off the axle, just has a little too much wheel lean.

    CASE 588G King Pins

Thought I would post this in here, working on a Case 588G forklift 4wd with the carraro axle, king pins have worn into the axle housing. Can't be the first machine this has happened on, I know the backhoe's use the same axle. What is the best way to fix it?

    Michigan 275B hydraulic issues

Thought I would post some results, I ended up removing the flow control and the main relief valve, disassembled the relief, cleaned it up and really didn't find anything in it like I thought I would. Put it back together, fired it up and it went to working, I can tell the pumps are weak, but the...

    Michigan 275B hydraulic issues

Well I'm running out of answers fast, checked steering pressure at the pump - 2200 psi, removed top of tank and looked at suction screens, both look clean with no sediment, oil level gauge is missing but oil is above the top of the suction screens by about 4". Still absolutely 0 pressure...

    Michigan 275B hydraulic issues

oldseabee, thanks for the response, I have already removed and resealed the main control valve and just couldn't find enough issues in it to make me think it was a problem, so I kept hunting and thats when I found the seals blown off the relief in the center of the main pump, I removed that pump...

    Michigan 275B hydraulic issues

Thanks for the reply, I downloaded a parts book off Minnpar, and was looking for a suction screen in the bottom of the hydraulic tank, I'm thinking I can't get enough oil to the pumps, I have checked my oil pressure at the pilot valve in the cab and have absolutely "0", won't even wiggle the...

    Michigan 275B hydraulic issues

New here, working on a 275B loader with no loader functions, every port I have tested on the main pump and at the control valve tests "0" with 2 different gauges, removed and resealed main control valve, only really found a worn o-ring and backup ring on the pilot relief, didn't feel that was...
