    Cat H Series Scrapers

Funny you say that. We have since this photo installed some sideboards on two of the four. Oh yeah. They seem to load very easy compared to the F models and easier than the G models. The bowl is wider too and holds two more yards than the G models. It has some fancy way of working from there...

    Cat H Series Scrapers

A few other things I left out.... I must say that the support from CAT on these has been very good. Despite the breakdowns, and mechanics trying to fix them and not having much luck. I have personally visited on my jobsite with the worldwide manager for scrapers and off-highway trucks. Also a...

    Side sloping in a D6T

We have a couple D6T's and neither one are a wide pad. In ours on good material, you can run up, down, sideways, spin circles whatever on a 2:1 all day long. Now thats only on good material. I'll even run our D7Rs on the same slopes in the same manner pretty easily. Our D8's start to feel a...

    Cat H Series Scrapers

Our company has 4 of the 627H models and have over 1000 hours on each. They should have a lot more hours by now as we have had them for a whole year but the breakdowns have plagued these machines something horrible. When they work the work great. That being said, every one we have had has been...

    decel ?

It says in Caterpillar operation manual that they recommend accelerating everytime for longevity of components. So I would have to say yes you should. Also I believe from my experience that you have way more control over your machine when starting and stopping if you decel. Just my 2 cents!

    Cat? Deere? Komatsu?

As far as hours go we have two 850J's. the 2006 has approximately 8,000 hours on it and the 2007 has about 7,000 hours. and for all that we have had basically zero issues. one outer planetary under warranty due to a seal that failed thats about it. Oh yeah,..... LOTS of cutting edges! :D

    Cat? Deere? Komatsu?

850J John Deere. I think this is an awesome machine and you can do so much with it at a very efficient pace. big enough to finish anything and small enough to move easily.
