Just curious Dose the blade tilt? It appears to have cylinders tucked up in the steps attached to the push arms

Can't tell if that cylinder matches one on the other side to just lift the blade or if it can be used to tilt the blade.Just curious

As far as I know the cylinder on the side is the blade tilt. The cylinders on the back of the blade are what you use to control the grade you're cutting. Since it's on rubber tires that squish when you lift the blade, there are pads under the back of the blade that it rides on and tilting it back and forth controls the cut. At least that's how it was explained to me by someone who ran one a little bit, which is more than me.

A wheel dozer with a 4 way blade. I missed the lift cylinder behind the tire. Are long pushes the best applications for wheel dozers?

I don't know if they were big sellers for a specific industry or not but would think being rubber tired they'd save money over having undercarriage. Would only be used in cleaner material with no rocks or stumps etc. and never in poor underfoot conditions.
