    Yeah absolutely I knew a little bit about hydraulics going into it, but now understand them alot better. Its not just valve bank and controls there are also all these special hydrulic components in the mix too.

    I've fixed it!!!! Apparently you need pilot pressure to the relief valve not a tank drain.

    Thanks kjell, I just ran a couple tests, I removed the plug from the pc line and disconnected the PLS line from the pump which had no change on the way it reacted.
