    I changed all the fluids before I used the machine including the trans filter screen, there wasn't much metal at all. I'll check the control valve before I jump off the deep end. Do these circlips break alot? Thanks

    Alrman, thanks for your response. Let me give you all the facts. I had be going up a steep grade (about 40 degree) with full loader of rocks with 4x4 engaged, 1st gear. I tried pulling the hill without 4x4 on but that was a little scary, I almost lost traction at one point, that's another...

    I've had my machine for about a week. It's a 2001 with 2600 hrs shuttleshift. Used it for about two days when the trans stop pulling forward.
