Hello Dave, I charged up the batteries and hooked up my volt meter to the P sensor and it is showing 0.66v with tractor running in L. when I lift the boom or curl the bucket it goes up to 1.23V. The buck converter is set at 5.0v IN and 2.1v out. it will stall out if I go past full curl or try to...

    Ex100-2 Slow hydraulics

Hello Chris, I was hoping to talk with you more on these buck converters but I am confused on the voltage in. I think it should be 5.0v in and 2.1v out correct? My P sensor is showing 0.66v with the tractor running and if I raise the boom or other function the voltage goes up to 1.23v

Hello Dave, I put the buck converter in with the power and ground ground to the IN side and the signal wire to the OUT side and trying to adjust the voltage like Chris mentioned with the little screw on top of blue thing but the display doesn't change. I can change things with the two push...

    Ex100-2 Slow hydraulics

Morning Chris, I guess I'm doing something wrong. I connected the DP sensor wires the power and ground to the IN side and the signal wire to the OUT side and try to adjust the voltage with the little screw but the display doesn't change.

right. So I am going to put the buck converter at the plug for the P sensor. 3&2 in and 2 out. The voltage in at 1.8 and voltage out the same

    Ex100-2 Slow hydraulics

on the P sensor the three wires are they the same as the N sensor where 1&3 are the 5v and 2&3 are the signal voltage?

    Ex100-2 Slow hydraulics

Okay I put mine at the plug for the DP sensor. I am no electrician and this is all above me. So I need to see where I can meter the voltage in so I can adjust it.

are you back probing the plug to see the voltage in so you can adjust it?

so set that for the 2.2vdc.? what am I setting when I push the pots and it adjusts the voltage? must be the volts out. Should it be set to anything? You mentioned putting one on the P sensor also. Is that still your thinking and what settings do you recommend.

Hello Chris, on the Buck converter where is the screw to set the in voltage? I see the push button pots or are you talking about the tiny screw on top of the blue square thing?

Morning Dave, I was checking out Chris's thread and I wonder if maybe my problems are in the wiring also. I am not sure I could do what he did with the voltage regulators but maybe it's not the sensor as much as the wires. I am at the point of trying anything even dynamite is sounding good.

Morning Dave, I just probed the DP sensor, first with just the key on and had #1 & #3 5.01vdc and #2 & #3 was 4.41vdc then with engine idling there was no change when I raised the boom or moved the arm in and out. Again I forgot to speed the engine up.

Morning Dave, I looked at the relay and it has a Y/B and Y/G it has a black and white and a black and white with a red dot. Solenoids have a Y/Black and a Y, the other has a Y/Black and a red/blue wire. I checked the fuses and they are all good. the horn, lights and wipers do not work, the wires...
