Help with JCB 4CX, 4 speed Powershift Gearbox solenoid connections

I think this may be what you are looking for. That 4 speed doesn’t work like you originally thought. It’s a bit more squirrelly than just FR and 1234. This should help sort it out.

Clark 18000 transmission Volvo L30 BM transmission

Is the oil cooler a water type that uses engine coolant? If so I guess 170 would not be too bad for 20 minutes of run time.

Clark 18000 transmission Volvo L30 BM transmission

Do you know the last time the suction screen was checked and cleaned? Could be starving for oil and making heat? Just something to try that doesn’t cost much.

Cat ET errors, SIS and DPF sensor question.

You are over 116% soot load. You need to force a regen. Probably several of them to clean up that dpf.

    Dresser TD8E won’t move, driveshaft doesn’t spin

Does it have a winch by chance? The driveshaft while not running should be able to be turned pretty easily due to no hydraulic pressure to apply any clutches.

GTH 644 No drive unless a function is called for

Have you checked your pilot pressure? The same pilot pressure that is used for the joystick also releases the park brake.

    D31E internal transmission issues

I also have not been into one of these personally, but I would guess there is a missing snap ring somewhere on that input shaft.

    Case 1845C Lift Arm/Bucket Problems

Do you have an auxiliary function valve on that machine? That valve is downstream of the bucket and lift functions. If it is partially applied it can cause all kinds of back pressure problems. I seen a Deere 310 get worked on for a week for low power and hard starting complaints, only to find...

    Hyd question

I believe Sberry meant to say it needs to be in the detented float position during travel. The loader boom is part of the front frame on these machines and it rests on the rear half during travel. Thus when the machine articulates the boom can swing freely with it. These machines do not turn...

Help Identifying this Detroit powered hole digging equipment

Still very cool way to put some posts in. Wish I had something like that for the U.P. clay and rock around my place. The old 3 point auger takes a beating around here. I was kinda thinking it looked like something Pettibone out of Baraga, MI would have put together back in the day. They made all...

Help Identifying this Detroit powered hole digging equipment

I think Champion may have made that rig. Found one for sale on Craigslist on the Oregon coast. Looks just like it. What are you going to use it for?

    Hyd question

Just wondering does the main boom also have a detent on it too? My dad’s did. I rebuilt the valves 7 years ago with new bearing balls in the detents along with new seals. No longer need the rubber snubber to keep them in detent any more.

    Hyd question

My father’s iron mule just used 1/4” hose for the swing hoses. I never thought it was too fast. Maybe someone swapped in a bigger gpm pump on your machine at one time. A lot of continuous grapple rotators use hydraulic fittings with a very small orifice drilled in them to slow them down...

Cat 308E2 Cr blade not holding pressure

Probably should have started a new thread for your problem. However since I’m here, how about raising the blade, block it up and then remove the hose on the base end of the cylinder and try raising it again. If oil keeps flowing out of the cylinder your piston seals are blown out.
