Engine is getting pulled before the fenders and hood get put back on.
Once the rad is removed it's wide open for them, they shouldn't have to get very close to the new paint.

The parking lot would be to close for most mechanic.I was painted my pickup it had sat in the shop a long time . My cat would jump from the cab to the flat front of the open hood and sleep. A couple days after i painted it i thought about the cat sure enough there were claw marks were it tried but was now alot slicker. It buffed out and the cat didnt try it agin.

There were 13 trucks built.Of the 13 I have found 11 of them.I have the locations for the other two trucks and need verification.I have the first truck and Will has the very last. These trucks are in the best shape but they have both been rebuilt.About 5 or 6 trucks are road worthy..There is a original owner truck on Vancouver Island and i believe he has over 400,000 miles on it...

Grizzly's are super cool but I think that's some wishful thinking on the owners part.

I agree...I have been told numerous times that I could get North of 100K for my truck in the USA...I figure my truck is probably worth about 60K in Canada on a good day...USA is a different market...JMO...Cory

I guess if a guy really wants one, the price doesn't really matter. There's only 12-13 of them, and I don't imagine they come for sale very often.

I'm assuming the 105,000 is in canadian, which would be 77,000 in USD. That's around the price for a 4x4 crew cab if it isn't totally dressed out, denali/ king ranch etc. I suppose if someone wants a grizzly truck, instead of a new truck- its their $$$, at least they wouldn't have a truck just like the guy around the block. But it does seem a little overpriced.

Engine guys aren't messing around. Drive train should be ready to go back in the truck by the end of next week.

I'm glad we did what we did, the "killer dowel pin" was half way out. It's properly secured now.

New headliner should be getting installed this afternoon.

Not rebuilt but almost every seal has been replaced, new water pump, new pulleys, and it'll get a new clutch.

Shop recommended not opening it up completely for a full overhaul with it running as well as it does. Transmission and transfer case are both in really good shape too, just needing new seals in those as well to deal with age.

It does have a compressor.

It turns out this truck wasn't built with a Dodge/pickup engine, it's a commercial grade engine out of something like a 5 ton commercial truck.

It has a bigger turbo on it and the shop had to go right to Cummins for some of the parts, Dodge doesn't support the commercial engines.
