Engine swap caterpillar 3044c for perkins 1004-4T

Guys so I'm done with the cat 3044 engine ( its too worn ) . I was given a perkins 1004 4t to swap in its place , I know I'll have to do some modifications but my main concern is the bellhousing . Will the hydraulic pump bolt back up to the side mounts perfectly or do I have to make...

Cat 246 and 246B drive motor

I have no idea, I'm not that experienced in dealing with the hydraulics on the machine, so far the only difference I can tell between the two is the lip that goes around where it will bolt to the frame, I'm hoping it fits inside the frame , I'm probably not explaining it right, I'll take...

    246b caterpillar injection pump strainer

Hey guys is there a strainer/filter on the injection pump on the cat 246B , if so where ? My 246b (3044) won't start unless I give it a little throttle and it cuts out if throttle down to sudden ( if that makes sense ).

Cat 246b chain case breather vent

Hey guys I've notice s steady hydraulic oil leak coming from a breather vent just In front of the valve body on my 246B where can this oil be coming from? , I took the breather off and cleaned it but it still leaks .

    246B catch can

It's actually an oil separator. But I have to pull my engine out and probably rebuild with liners . I have too much oil blowing out the breather so I had to re-route the ventilation system . Like how they did with old trucks years ago and let the Blow by go outside instead of recirculating back...

    246B catch can

Well it's possible but Its a brand new turbo ( from China but still ) . Also I installed new valve seals . So I'm thinking I'll probably have to get some liners and rebuild from scratch .
